Bharat Gupta
Bharat Gupta has more than 28 years of experience in Telecom, Regulatory, Policy & ICT.
His focus areas are Policy and Regulatory, Economics, Spectrum Management, IMT and Space
Communications, Data-Privacy, Digital Connectivity solutions, new age technologies like IoT, 5G etc.
He joined the Govt of India as an Officer in 1994 and tenanted various appointments at senior
leadership level. He has worked as Joint Advisor at the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India and
has authored consultation papers on Data Privacy, Telecom Manufacturing, Licensing etc.
He is currently the Executive Council Member of ITU-APT and BIF (Broadband India Forum)
He holds a master’s degree in communication engineering from IIT Delhi and an MBA from FMS,
Delhi University.
He is also an “Agility and Innovation Coach” from the Verrocchio Institute, Germany.
